Welcome, Commander

Galaro is a real-time, tick-based galactic strategy game. You command a single homeworld in a shared universe, competing for resources, territory, and planetary dominance.

Core Concept: The Tick

Unlike instant-action games, actions in Galaro resolve on a server-wide heartbeat called the Tick.

  • Normal tick speed is 1 tick = 1 hour.
  • Constructing buildings, shipyard queues, fleet travel, and battle resolutions all calculate and trigger on tick transitions.
  • Your resources grow continuously, calculated lazily when you login or perform an action.

Planetary Economy

Your empire runs on three physical resources and one critical strategic asset:

Metal

Raw hull plating and basic structures. Acquired from Metal Mines.

C

Crystal

Power grids, targeting relays, and shipyards. Acquired from Crystal Refiners.

E

Eonium

Rare heavy element for advanced hyperdrive engines and combat weaponry. Acquired from Eonium Extractors.

Roids

Asteroids

Asteroids represent raw territorial value. Your total count directly determines your rank on the leaderboard. They cannot be mined for resources in this stage, but they can be stolen from other planets via attack missions.

Victory Condition

Rounds typically last 4 to 6 weeks. At the end of the round, the universe resets and a winner is crowned based on the composite score:

Score = Weighted Roids + Fleet Value + Structure Value
