Terms of Use

Galaro is a free-to-play, browser-based, multi-player tick-based strategy game operated by Galaro. There is no purchase, no in-game currency, no pay-to-win. All gameplay is server-authoritative; outcomes are deterministic given inputs and the server clock.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Galaro. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Galaro.

You need a valid email to sign up. One account per person. Account sharing or multi-accounting is forbidden and is grounds for immediate termination.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other players.
• Post hate speech, sexual content, or doxing in any chat channel.
• Exploit bugs to gain in-game advantage. Report them to support.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to play the game.
• Probe, scan, or attack the infrastructure of the service.

Violations result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans depending on severity. Admins have full discretion.

We make no uptime or availability guarantee of any kind. The service, its features, and these terms may change, break, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time, with or without notice. Game eons (seasons) run for ~30 days and end with a full galaxy reset; we may pause, cancel, restart, or wipe an eon at any time for any reason, and all in-game data may be permanently deleted in the process. Where practical we'll note such actions via the in-game Galaxy News Net, but we are not obligated to.

You retain ownership of anything you write in chat or alliance comms. By posting it in Galaro, you grant us a limited licence to display it to other players in the same channel and to retain it for the duration of the active eon plus 30 days for moderation purposes.

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion — including for breach of these terms, cheating, or abuse — with or without notice. Termination may include removal of all your in-game assets and data; we don't offer compensation for lost game progress.

Galaro is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with all faults and without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory — including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any data will be preserved.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Galaro and its operators will not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the service — including, without limitation, loss of game data, account data, progress, or assets; eon wipes or resets; downtime; or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages. The service is free; you use it entirely at your own risk.

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be announced on the dashboard or via the Galaxy News Net. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
