Terms of Service

1. What Galaro is

Galaro is a free-to-play, browser-based, multi-player tick-based strategy game. There is no purchase, no in-game currency, no pay-to-win. All gameplay is server-authoritative; outcomes are deterministic given inputs and the server clock.

2. Accounts

You need a valid email to sign up. One account per person. Account sharing or multi-accounting is forbidden and is grounds for immediate termination.

3. Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other players.
• Post hate speech, sexual content, or doxing in any chat channel.
• Exploit bugs to gain in-game advantage. Report them to support.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to play the game.
• Probe, scan, or attack the infrastructure of the service.

Violations result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans depending on severity. Admins have full discretion.

4. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but make no SLA guarantees. Rounds run for ~4-6 weeks; we reserve the right to pause, cancel, or restart a round for technical or balance reasons. We'll communicate any such action via the in-game Galaxy News Net.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of anything you write in chat or alliance comms. By posting it in Galaro, you grant us a limited licence to display it to other players in the same channel and to retain it for the duration of the active round plus 30 days for moderation purposes.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can terminate your account for breach of these terms. Termination may include removal of all your in-game assets; we don't offer compensation for lost game progress.

7. Disclaimer

Galaro is provided "as is". We don't warrant uninterrupted service or fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the dashboard. Continued play after the announcement constitutes acceptance.
